I not only [?] to the fame of stars, but became one myself. In the process my work became in high demand.
I helped through mass media [to] bring athletes—elevate their celebrity in an art form—athletes as icons
I forged links between art and popular culture. My work introduced the uninitiated to the value of art as buyer, collectors attendees at galleries and museums.
Lautrec followed the style of Montmartre, illustrators, depicted the stars of nite life, the mood of clubs and its patrons.
