Sunday, 29, P.M.
Dearest LeRoy and Janet; -- Why don’t I hear from you, hope everyone is O.K., here in our 10 below zero weather its not to [too] funny, often I don’t go out, when only skipping Fridays because I have to eat no matter what.
We sure have carnival weather which is going full swing here, and I have to stay indoors, and we still have 2 more months to go, I should go down town to get my glasses fixed, but I am not able to make it in this cold weather.
I keep up with thins on the radio, and newspapers, and I have to get news about you from Brent, or Baskfield I should say, he seems to be the one that gets the news, so please write me it will also help me with my health, I get pretty lonely here along all of the time, pretty sure I’ll (be) talking to myself just to hear a voice.
Well as there is no news from here /
I sign off, and please let me hear from in some way or form, it will also help my health to hear from you, hope you are well and going strong,
God bless and guide you well.
all of my love – Mother
