Dear Folks,
Well we are here and it’s great. We have a corner, outside, rooms on the 17th floor of the Y.M.C.A. Hotel so we can see out for many miles in two directions (one over the lake)
We stayed in Rockford Wednesday nite, and got in here at 8:30 on Thursday morning. The trip went fine except I backed into a concrete post at Mendota and smashed a rear fender and taillight all to hell.
Outlined on photo is the Chicago Art Institute where I’m going to school.
Love LeRoy
