This note from LeRoy Neiman touches on the artist’s incursions into the American West, specifically Las Vegas, Nevada. Although constituting more of a skeletal list of commissions than fleshed out discussion, the document gives a cursory portrait of the artist’s involvement in the city. The recorded features include, but are not limited to, Neiman's various murals at a range Vegas casinos, work directly with real estate tycoon Steve Wynn, and poster marking the city’s 100th anniversary. Despite the breadth of the catalogue, the register should in no way be considered total.
