Text

I turned my gaze to
From time to time my eyes would depart
My subject to others of different tongues
Multitudes
With my attentive gaze—

I came to a halt at—
He addressed me
My faithful memories compelled me to relate
My experiences

Before me now appeared
I both saw and heard

Inflamed with love
My eyes were again directed on

A worth that chronicles my (the) past
Unhesitating

When Casey was awakened, muddles of his
Sudden awakening

My observations lent to my mind
Possibilities that never before existed
Never before available to grasp /

What I observed urged me to depict
speak in images so revealing
What this my destiny?
