This note from LeRoy Neiman touches on the artist’s commercial relationship with GE. Neiman filmed a promotion for the company’s cell phone in the early 1990s, although the advertisement never aired. The note was most likely made in preparation for the artist’s memoir, All Told.

I was (featured) in on an early promotion of the (GE) cellular phone TV commercial. Kicky (shoot) but it never ran.
I had painted some Neimanesque stuff on the hood of (the new) Corvette for a dealer and was (of a) contracted by this introductory cellular phone commercial with other folks like Ted Turner (30 see)
Anyway after (the shoot was) painting the its completion At Silverstone studio a car wash was built after I [?] painted , it I as the freshly painted car came out of the car was with me a the whether I sounded off about whether the paint had been washed away ?
