It became impossible to measure up to his
criteria - not only tastes but appetites
[?] renewed, (of its [?]) our sagging spirits readying
us for turbulent Paris ahead.
We were (blessed with) the delicious freedom from having
to make decisions about what to select for our
gastromic pleasures
Their next drink - the usual
Bartender "what'll it be"
Science of the gullet
The Bartender serves as a confidant, he
Will give a five (for ten) from his own wallet to a
Customer who has had too much to drink
so he may take a cab home - not drive
or stagger the streets. He'll call the
cab cab and [?] from his back
Food
A Las Vegas pit bass, 20 years (old) was advised by
his friend, (a) casino bartender, that his 22 year
old mistress was hanging at the bar and leaving
with a variety of men customers. The old guy shouted
back "I don't know want to know what she does. Keep
it to yourself.
I want no trouble with her."
