When he retired, became a fashionable restauranteur. / Mohammad ALI introduced waiters at a dinner. / Ali's father drawing Atlanta story - drawing contest in Atlanta. Roadwork Ali for Leston. - Golf course. / Ali's Comment to Neiman: " You is the Heavyweight Artist Champ" / At the Ali-Norton fight at Yankee Stadium, Ken Norton climbing steps to the ring, looks down at me and says, "Must be a big fight, LeRoy's here". / Bobby CZYZ: "When you see me have my nose done, it means I've retired". / 1D. FOOTBALL / Occasionally, on freezing days, Neiman drew with gloves on at football games. / 1E. BASEBALL / Goose GOSSAGE could not pitch for several weeks because he injured his finger eating lobstercraw. / Manney MOTTA lent his jacket to Linda on a chilly night in Los Angeles, there were rosary beads in each pocket. / Casey STENGLE drawing fans... "You draw pictures, I draw fans". GOLF / Rich man referring to "Big Thunder my driver" (when asking to autograph book). It proved not to be his chauffeur, but his golf club. "To 'Big Thunder', My driver" - LeRoy Neiman. / Jack NICHLAUS (golf champion) - the Nicklausses = a german family. Also the name of Hoffman's friend in his Tales (see 114D. BARS & RESTAURANTS).]
